Very good job.
Worthy addition, but I felt the animation took a very minor hit, compared to the other ones. Most of it was good, however, the scene witht the falling bunny where it says "No Answer" in the background could have been omitted or changed. I actually prefer the happier episodes, though.
To be honest, I think the madness series is getting worse. I found this one to be extremely tedious to watch, and only made it through hoping for something amazing to happen. Like that one where they accidently kill the clown or something like that, and he comes back saying you can't kill him. That one was exciting, this one was boring. The music, had this movie been any longer, would have made my ears bleed. I think this series needs more dynamic camera angles. That would keep the audience engaged. It also needs to be faster. I feel the men move too slowly, like they are quite floaty or something like that. If you can't do that, try bumping up the frame rate or something, see if that works. So bleh.
Meh. Throwaway animation.
First off, excellent voice work. It, for one, was bearable, and that's always a good sign. But not just that, it was genuinely good. So, kudos for that.
But, It wasn't funny. At all. Didn't even smile.
And, i have to rate it down for sprites, but that isn't very important. More the fact that hand drawn animation takes so much more effort.
But the point here is to be entertained, and I wasn't. So, meh. Good job on the sound, though.
Pretty good. Lacks in some areas.
That was, weird...
I commend you for your artwork. The backgrounds looked great. The drawing of Link, however, wasn't fantastic. So, the art style of your human characters needs to be revised a bit, I think. The animation was a bit jerky at some points, but when he got frightened by the cow, that was some impressive animation right there. And I'm sorry, but at times the animation looked like those CD-i Zelda games...
The only part I didn't like was the fact that it was exceedingly boring. Link wakes up. Link puts on boots. Link sees cow. I'd say that was the only tiny flaw, but, it isn't. The story needs to be interesting to keep me entertained. The fact that it was based in the world of Zelda may have gained you a few fans, but, for me, I think you should actually think of a good story before you invest your time into making it.
Overall good job.
this was an exceptional animation. i think you have talent to become a great animator, because your animation is very smooth and well, just good. but, i think your one flaw is your drawing. To me, it looks like you've become accustomed to one style of drawing people and it shows in your drawings of the gruff or monsterous people. This is from my perspective, and people won't agree, but they don't look evil or big enough. They look a bit too smalland maybe lack that edge that sets them apart. It's kind of hard to explain, but what you need is more versatility. i'd say read tutorials, or buy books or, whatever, and practice heaps. They have improved over the last episode, but keep keep animating, because you're good! i hope you're not offended...
what's so special about this? it's okay, but definately not worth front page. You need to work on your drawing too. sorry if im coming off like a dick, but i just didn't think this was worth it. a 4 from me. sorry.
Don't be sorry, I agree that this is really overrated. If you took the time to read my author comments and my news posts, you wouldve seen my view on how this is just too much.
thanks for the review
don't agree with you but that was pretty goddamn funny. lol.
Sorry guy, it's not good. I made my animation, Army Guy & the Knife, when I was twelve. And in my opinion, sorry if it seems like I'm boasting, it's a fair bit better. Also, you do have to take into account that not everyone has the same music taste as you do. You'll get there though. Oh, and people don't usually like it when you tell them "Oooh, I'm only 13, I'm not good yet! Be nice on me!"
Oh yeah, it didn't look good when you cut off the "To Be Contin"
drag the mouse along the words and the rest of the to be continued sign comes up. Also, i dont want sympathy votes coz im 13, I just dont wanna have an animation judged the same as some profesional whos been to university and got a degree in this stuff.
Wow, that was amazing, that must've been the most heart-felt and amazing animation i've ever seen. You are simply awe-inspiring.
Heh, this is funny because if thi was real you'd go:
And I'd say:
The Story of Khale
Wow, that was fantastic.
Graphics: Brilliant, not much needs to be said. Very good quality drawings.
Style: Very cool fairytale-like atmosphere. The great animation helped bring it together almost flawlessly. Really, some of that animation was just mean. The start with the white backgound and the fading dot didn't really need to be in there, mind.
Sound: Meh. I think it could have been a bit more atmospheric at the start, and well, it just didn't really suit your animation, to be honest.
Overall, it was a great little animation with a neat fairytale style. Watch out, Adam Phillips, you've got competiton.
